Our first HELP event was held August 29th through Labor Day. It was scheduled to reduce the impact of the Fast Food Strike promoted by organized labor on August 29th.
We know that tens of thousands of emails were forwarded and that our flyers were printed and distributed in several cities, but it is unclear how effective it may have been. So we are inviting comments in an attempt to quantify its effectiveness. Please comment and let us know.
It also appears that the number and extent of walk-outs across the nation was very small. So we can happily take credit for making a difference and we will apply lessons learned to improve on our next HELP Event.
HELP stands for Honoring Entry-Level Positions.
