HELP Events

HELP stands for Honoring Entry-Level Positions and HELP events can be launched any time an organized threat is staged against entry-level jobs. For example, in the case of a fast food worker strike, we can send an email blast for people buy more fast food. The goal is to make these threats self-defeating, by achieving the opposite result—more fast food purchased, not less. Here’s the flyer of our first HELP Event.

Simply having an organized group, who actively works to defeat the impact of walk-outs and strikes, can potentially convince agitators to not even try. In fact, we want organized labor to know that the Market Wage Action Alliance stands ready to organize such events in the future, specifically to defeat their tactics.
